Income Disruption Protection covers your rent or mortgage payments if you lose your job through no fault of your own. Rather than paying you cash, DenZen pays your landlord or lender directly, keeping your housing current while you find your next role.
-
It means the coverage is built into your lease or loan when you sign, rather than being something you have to find and buy separately. You don't shop for it, compare policies, or remember to enroll — it's simply part of the agreement. That matters because insurance only works if it's in place before something happens, and most people don't go looking for layoff coverage until after they've been laid off, when it's too late to buy.
-
Coverage is built into your lease or loan when you sign — there's nothing separate to shop for. If you're laid off, you file a digital claim in minutes, we verify the job loss, and we pay your landlord or lender directly.
-
Losing your job through no fault of your own — typically a layoff, position elimination, or reduction in force. Voluntary resignation, retirement, and termination for cause generally aren't covered. [CONFIRM exact covered and excluded events.]
-
DenZen covers up to 3 months of rent or mortgage payments per claim, depending on your policy.
-
To file a claim, a resident or borrower needs an off-boarding letter from HR, a RIF notice, a separation agreement, or a state unemployment filing. For self employment our document says tax filings, bank statements (redacted) or other credible and authentic financial documents or written proof as determined DenZen.
-
DenZen is available through participating property managers, landlords, and lenders — if your building or loan is with a DenZen partner, you're covered.on

Embedded insurance is coverage built directly into another product or transaction rather than sold separately. In DenZen's case, layoff protection attaches to the lease or loan at signing — residents and borrowers don't shop for it, compare policies, or opt in. It's the same distribution model behind the renters insurance and other benefits you may already attach at lease signing.
-
Insurance that covers essential payments — rent or mortgage — when a resident's or borrower's income stops unexpectedly.
-
When a resident loses their job through no fault of their own, they file a digital claim. Once verified, DenZen pays their rent directly to you for up to [CONFIRM] months. The resident's obligation is met by insurance rather than deferred as debt — so you're paid on time and they aren't buried in arrears.
-
Evictions are stressful and costly for everyone involved. DenZen helps avoid bad debt, legal fees, turnover and empty unit costs while giving the resident or borrower the opportunity to get back on track financially: statistically, once a resident is 1 month delinquent the probability the delinquency will be cured is 38% but if that 1 month becomes 2 months, the probability drops to 11%.
-
Involuntary job loss — layoff, position elimination, reduction in force. Voluntary resignation and termination for cause are excluded.
-
DenZen can typically process a claim with payment sent to the owner/operator or lender within 30 days, assuming all documentation provided by the resident or borrower is accurate, complete and submitted in a timely fashion.
-
[CONFIRM integrations — name Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, AppFolio, and RentCafe explicitly if supported. Operators search by PMS name when shortlisting vendors; a page that doesn't name their system doesn't make the list.]
-
[CONFIRM. Time-to-value and staff burden are the two operational objections. Less is better, and specificity beats reassurance.]
